Florida Chapter

About the Florida Chapter

For over four decades, the Private Care Association of Florida (PCAFL) has advocated on the behalf of nurse registries state-wide, educated owners and administrators on registry specific operational activities, empowered caregiver entrepreneurship, and influenced legislation that positively impacted the industry.

Through vigorous advocacy and well-established relationships in Tallahassee, PCAFL is actively involved with regulatory bodies in a position to impact the industry. PCAFL has successfully thwarted legislative efforts to put nurse registries at a significant disadvantage in the marketplace and has played an integral role in maintaining and strengthening the registry model in Florida. PCAFL has successfully lobbied for action and language critical to the advancement of the registry model.

As a nurse registry owner or administrator, you owe it to yourself to actively engage with the critical efforts of the only association dedicated to advocating for your business and improving your bottom line both on the federal and state level.

PCA FL Board of Directors:

The Private Care Association of Florida has a Political Action Committee (PAC)…and it needs YOUR help!

Funds raised through our PAC are used to support any Florida candidate election that is before the voters (City, County, Judges, Legislators, Cabinet Members, etc.).

Our legislative committee allocates funds to those candidates who openly support our industry and work to pass or combat legislation that would directly impact nurse registries.

It is critically important that PCAFL support those running for office who will stand with us to defend, protect and promote the registry business model and the consumer directed model of care.

We urge you to make a contribution to our Political Action Committee today!
